Technical Advisor for East Rockingham Resource Recovery Facility, Australia

The consortium of New Energy Corporation, Hitachi Zosen Inova and Tribe Infrastructure Group was developing the East Rockingham Resource Recovery Facility in Perth, Western Australia. The consortium has engaged Fichtner to provide technical advisory services to the project’s lenders as well as to the consortium. The services to the lenders covered three phases: pre-financial close technical due diligence, construction & commissioning verification visits, and operational verification. The services provided to the consortium included preparation of tender documents, assistance during EPC negotiations as well as input towards the EPC contract. In the next phase, we are verifying construction progress, invoices and claims for the banks.
